Powering sensitive analog for battery applications
Whether you are powering an MCU, the imaging sensor of a camera or wireless communications, we help you make the best choice to optimize your design needs and find a balance between performance and long battery life.
- Low ground and low quiescent current: Minimizes standby power to prolong battery life.
- Low noise and high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR): Improves wireless communications and data converters: our high PSRR performance helps clean up switching noise from a DC/DC solution and our low noise helps improve the bit error rate (BER).
- Low dropout voltage (VDO): Lets the LDO regulate the voltage for longer and, in some cases, function as a load switch while the battery drains.
- Small size: Features small <1-mm2 packages, such as DSBGA and X2SON packages, so that our LDO regulators can fit in space-constrained applications.

Powering signal-conditioning analog circuits
Whether you need 150 mA or 1 A for your dual-rail power supply we have the right solution for you. One of our newest voltage regulators, TPS7A39, helps you simplify your design because it combines a positive and negative regulator in a single package with start-up tracking. This feature minimizes the need to focus on power sequencing because the TPS7A39 negative rail tracks the positive rail at start-up.
Key benefits of our LDO regulators in powering signal-conditioning analog circuits include:
- Low noise and high PSRR: The PSRR filters out the ripple from the upstream converter and filters the low frequency noise which can help improve accuracy and repeatability.
- Wide input voltage (VIN) and output voltage (VOUT) ranges: Our high-PSRR and low-noise LDO regulators are specified with input voltages up to ±36 V to support precision analog circuitry.
- Positive and negative power rails: Solutions designed to minimize ground noise can leverage our dual-rail LDO regulators to provide the low noise needed to power to your analog circuitry.

Powering sensitive analog systems
If you need power for 5G and beyond and have sensitive measurement equipment or need the lowest noise power solution that you can find, we have an LDO regulator to clean up switching noise to provide low-noise power.
Key benefits of our LDO regulators in powering RF-sensitive circuits include:
- Low noise and high PSRR: Our LDO regulators for sensitive analog system have high PSRR where it matters. This is where the upstream converter is running. The high PSSRR of our devices filter out input ripple and provide low noice at the output, minimizing phase noise.
- Low-dropout voltage: Continues to provide a regulated output voltage at extremely low VIN, extending the operating range of your system.
- ANY-OUTTM configuration: Provides a configuration that does not require external resistors, which makes an ANY-OUT configuration LDO a true 0.75% accurate series of regulators. This ANY-OUT functionality is supported with our TPS7A8xA family of LDO regulators.
- Power density: Helps keep the device operating reliably for years by leveraging our low-dropout voltage and low thermal-resistance.

Powering off-board sensors
Tracking LDO regulators can help make sure that loads are properly regulation even when located far from the actual power supply. Our tracking LDO regulators are equipped with full protection to help make sure that the control unit board is unaffected by wire-harness failure events. The tracking architecture allows for accurate readings when exciting resistive, ratiometric sensors.
Key benefits of our LDO regulators include:
